The team approach helps students feel engaged and connected to their school and their learning. Our  school’s mission is student excellence by concentrating on community, integrity and commitment.

Using an integrated curriculum, students are encouraged to push themselves by getting involved in a nationally known Virtual Reality Lab, and a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) program. Honors classes are offered in all core subjects, including Algebra for eighth graders.

Yet, it’s not just all science, language arts, social studies and math at Gridley. The school offers a Fine Arts program that comprises of art, drama, band, guitar, and orchestra for all grades. Student Council provides a variety of student lead activities to engage and empower the whole campus to be Gridley Grizzly Proud.  Keeping students busy all day also translates into afterschool programs. Gridley has a wide variety of extracurricular activities for all interests such as  4-H (external sponsor), clay club, drama club and interscholastic sports.
